2008 Member's Exhibition
Guidelines

Receiving: Sunday March 23 noon to 5pm, Monday March 24 10am to 5pm,
Tuesday March 25 10am to 5pm.

Submit ONE recent work in the medium of your choice Including photography, sculpture, and unique one-of-a-kind artisanry.

The following guidelines will be followed:

  • You must be a current member of the Washington Art Association
  • Receiving will be Sunday March 23 (Happy Easter) noon to 5pm, Monday March
    24 10am to 5pm, Tuesday March 25 10am to 5pm. NOTHING WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 5PM ON TUESDAY! ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS NOT EVEN FOR FRIENDS OR A GOOD BRIBE.
  • Entry fee $5 we accept cash or checks made out to Washington Art Association.
  • Maximum size of 2 ­ D works including the frame will be no larger than 9 square feet or 1296 square inches. Don¹t worry we will do the math! Examples: 3' x 3', 30" x 42", 48" x 26" (and of course smaller sizes are welcomed! We will be measuring.)
  • Wall pieces must be securely wired and ready to hang from one nail. NO SAW TOOTH HANGERS
  • We reserve the right to exclude art that has been in any previous Members Show ­ or two

Pick up will be Monday April 28 and Tuesday April 29 from 10am to 5pm There will be a storage fee for work left after Friday May 2, 5pm.

Presentation of the Ferguson-Sherr Prizes for first $1000, second$650 and third $350 place will take place at the opening reception, this Saturday March 29, from 3-6PM in the Association Gallery, 4 Bryan Memorial Plaza, Washington Depot, CT.
